Now you can see 2 tabs on your dashboard – Tracks and Levels.

The tracks page contains reviews that will be rewarded according to the new system of calculations, which is currently being tested. Your reward for a review on the Tracks page is influenced by two key factors:

  • the combination of your playlist's basic score and extra scores

  • the influence of your review on the track's discovery on Spotify

We are constantly looking for new ways to optimize our pricing model for the interest of both artists and curators. This optimization is aimed at reaching a balance in using the artist's campaign budget without violating the interest of curators.

Getting more reviews for the same campaign budget is expected to benefit both curators and artists. The curator is paid for reviews and receives a reward despite the placement decision. Rewards differentiation does not impact the legitimacy of the curator's placement unless the playlist itself has fake followers or streams.

The new system is still in a test phase and may be adjusted depending on the data we get. We are analyzing and measuring how it impacts artists' and curators' results to formulate weighted conclusions based on the findings of this experiment.

We hope to stay aligned with the curators' community that aims to support independent artists and is genuinely interested in their opportunities as well. Your thoughts and feedback are valuable so feel free to share them.
