Promotion on TikTok has been available on SoundCampaign for almost a year. During this time, we’ve expanded out of beta and partnered with a wide range of artists, from indie bands to international record labels.
This experience has helped us find a new way to bring more value:
for creators, by allowing them to earn more
for artists, by bringing them more views and videos
We’ve named this new approach the “views-based model,” as each video is rewarded based on the number of views it gains.
How does it work?
The creator accepts a sound.
Shoots a video based on the artist’s task.
Each video has 5 days to gain views. On the 5th day, the creator sees the amount of the reward they can earn if the video remains available on TikTok.
Example:
Creator Kate accepted the sound “Stellar Serenade” by Orion Midnight. She sees that she can earn between $9.37 and $124.90 for the video with this sound.
If her video reaches 65,800 views on the 5th day after publishing, she might earn $65.80, provided the video remains on TikTok.
However, if her video gains fewer than 9,367 views within 5 days, it will not be rewarded.
How is it calculated?
The minimum required number of views is calculated individually for each creator, based on:
activity on the TikTok profile
regularity of published videos
engagement with content
To maximize earnings on SoundCampaign need to:
post at least 3-4 videos a week
engage with audience
promote videos in legal ways
